On October 15, an inclusive classical music concert “Camerton” was held. The main goal of the project was: to give children with disabilities and special needs the opportunity to develop and demonstrate their musical skills. their socialization and integration. In the field of classical music, discriminatory and stigmatizing attitudes towards disabled people will be eliminated.
Beneficiaries of “Gamma” SSSM and Z. The students of Paliashvili music school “Nichietra Decade”. Classical pieces were performed, both solo and in group format. The concert was attended by the participants’ parents, field specialists, professors and students of the conservatory.
The project was implemented by the “Inclusive Music Education Development Center” in cooperation with the Mental Health Center Gamma. Supporters of the project were: Tbilisi City Hall, Tbilisi V. Sarajishvili State Conservatory and Zakaria Paliashvili Central Music School “Decade of Talents” The author of the idea was Tamar Jordania (Tako Jordania), music therapist, composer.
It should be noted that an inclusive concert of such an idea and scale has been implemented for the first time in our country. People and specialists from different countries were interested in the concert, who have long been supporters of the Center for the Development of Inclusive Music Education.
